Across Hawaii, there were 152 computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,214 and $14,184 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 132 computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,385 and $28,544 respectively.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Hawaii at Manoa. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Hawaii for CompSci for a Bachelor’s list. UH Manoa is a fairly large school located in Honolulu, Hawaii that handed out 78 bachelors’s compsci degrees in 2020-2021.

UH Manoa also made our “Best Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Hawaii” list, coming in at #1.According to our most recent data, UH Manoa supports 18,025 students, and 3 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 4 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $22,153. During this same period, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. UH Manoa does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

Hawaii Pacific University is located in Honolulu, Hawaii and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 22 bachelors’s compsci degrees to qualified students.

Hawaii Pacific University also made our “Best Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Hawaii” list, coming in at #2.According to our most recent data, Hawaii Pacific University supports 4,243 students, and 992 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 829 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $15,333. On top of their other funding sources, 307 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
