In 2020-2021, 14,700 people earned their degree in computer systems networking, making the major the 125th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, computer systems networking graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,365 and had an average of $27,750 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 1,001 computer systems networking graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,108 and $28,028 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Networking” ranking, we looked at 16 colleges that offer a degree in computer systems networking. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer systems networking programs as well as strong veteran support.

Out of the 16 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Networking that were part of this year’s ranking, Carnegie Mellon University landed the #1 spot on the list. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s networking degrees to 94 students in 2020-2021.

Carnegie Mellon not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 117 of the 13,519 students enrolled at Carnegie Mellon were GI Bill® students, of which 72 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Rochester Institute of Technology is a private not-for-profit institution located in Rochester, New York. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 8 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.

RIT not only placed well in this ranking.
