When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Best Value Information Science Schools for an Associate” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2019-2020, 18,368 people earned their degree in general information science, making the major the 45th most popular in the United States.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 929 general information science graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Information Science Schools for an Associate” ranking analyzed 25 colleges that offered a degree in general information science. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general information science programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the general information science program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
