You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Rhode Island. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Rhode Island for IT list. University of Rhode Island is a fairly large school located in Kingston, Rhode Island that handed out 19 ’s IT degrees in 2020-2021.

URI also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 381 of the 17,649 students enrolled at URI were GI Bill® students, of which 187 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $10,022. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Community College of Rhode Island is located in Warwick, Rhode Island and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 14 ’s IT degrees to qualified students.

CCRI did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Of the 13,684 students enrolled at Community College of Rhode Island, 408 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 199 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $2,417. Out of the 4 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Rhode Island for IT that were part of this year’s ranking, New England Institute of Technology landed the #3 spot on the list. East Greenwich, Rhode Island is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s IT degrees to 30 students in 2020-2021.

New England Tech did well in our major quality rankings, too. Johnson & Wales University - Providence is a medium-sized school located in Providence, Rhode Island that handed out 17 ’s IT degrees in 2020-2021.

JWU Providence also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 5,676 students enrolled at Johnson & Wales University - Providence, 265 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 175 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $9,319. During this same period, 9 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Johnson & Wales University - Providence does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
