Carpentry is the 286th most popular major in the country with 3,273 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, carpentry graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $31,196 and had an average of $11,191 in loans still to pay off.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Carpentry” ranking, we looked at 11 colleges that offer a degree in carpentry. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great carpentry programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Honolulu Community College. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for Carpentry list. Honolulu CC is a public institution located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The school has a small population, and it awarded 40 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Honolulu CC also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 3,378 students enrolled at Honolulu Community College, 335 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. MATC is a public institution located in Manhattan, Kansas. The school has a small population, and it awarded 22 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
