Inside This Veterans Report on LSC:
A sizable veteran community on campus is often a sign that a school knows how to support students with a military background. Based on VA records, there are 197 GI Bill® students at LSC. Because the school enrolls 2,456, nearly 8.0% of students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. By comparison, the Student Veterans of America reports that three to four percent of college students nationwide are veterans.
The total spans all GI Bill® chapters, including Post-9/11, Montgomery, Reserve Education Assistance, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. It does not include any active-duty military personnel attending via Tuition Assistance, so the total military population is potentially larger. About 0.7% of the student body at LSC, based on College Scorecard data.
