You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of North Carolina at Greensboro. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for Deaf Education for a Bachelor’s list. Located in Greensboro, North Carolina, this fairly large public school handed out 28 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s deaf education students in 2020-2021.

UNC Greensboro also took the #4 spot in our “Best Education of the Deaf Bachelor’s Degree Schools” ranking.Among the 19,764 students enrolled at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, 885 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 329 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $5,723. On top of their other funding sources, 14 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly for Deaf Education for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Texas Christian University landed the #2 spot on the list. TCU is a private not-for-profit institution located in Fort Worth, Texas. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 5 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at TCU, the school also landed the #3 spot in our “Best Education of the Deaf Bachelor’s Degree Schools” ranking.Among the 11,379 students enrolled at TCU, 520 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 405 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $23,096. To help with additional expenses, 343 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. TCU offers credit for military training for eligible students.

TCNJ is a medium-sized public school situated in Ewing, New Jersey. It awarded 7 bachelors’s deaf education degrees in 2020-2021.

UNF not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #5 on our “Best Education of the Deaf Bachelor’s Degree Schools” list.Our most recent data shows that 1,067 of the 16,926 students enrolled at UNF were GI Bill® students, of which 616 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
