In 2019-2020, special education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $45,679 and had an average of $24,977 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 5,866 special education graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,190 and $24,022 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,802 special education graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.
