Other Education is the 142nd most popular major in the country with 4,858 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, other education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $47,827 and had an average of $25,433 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 1,451 other education graduates with average earnings and debt of $46,063 and $32,602 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 357 other education graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.
This year’s “Most Well Attended Other Education Major in the Southeast Region for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 19 colleges that offered a degree in other education. To top this list, a school must have a successful other education program that graduates more students in the field than other colleges that offer the same major.
