The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Special Ed for an Associate. MDC is a large school located in Miami, Florida that handed out 10 associates’s special ed degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our southeast region associate degree vets studying special ed list, MDC has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Special Education Associate Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, MDC supports 46,523 students, and 907 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 607 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $2,371. To help with additional expenses, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Out of the 2 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Special Ed for an Associate that were part of this year’s ranking, Florida State College at Jacksonville landed the #2 spot on the list. FSCJ is a large public school situated in Jacksonville, Florida. It awarded 13 associates’s special ed degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at FSCJ, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Special Education Associate Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Of the 22,344 students enrolled at FSCJ, 2,072 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,533 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $2,070. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.
