In 2020-2021, 43,297 people earned their degree in teacher education subject specific, making the major the 22nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, teacher education subject specific graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,245 and had an average of $24,696 in loans still to pay off.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Subject Specific Ed for a Master’s” ranking, we looked at 450 colleges that offer a degree in teacher education subject specific. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great teacher education subject specific programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Minneapolis, Minnesota is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s subject specific ed degrees to 39 students in 2020-2021.
