You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Alaska Fairbanks. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Alaska for Elementary Teaching for a Bachelor’s list. Fairbanks, Alaska is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s elementary teaching degrees to 28 students in 2020-2021.

UAF did well in our major quality rankings, too. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Alaska for Elementary Teaching for a Bachelor’s. University of Alaska Southeast is a small public school situated in Juneau, Alaska. It awarded 19 bachelors’s elementary teaching degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at UAS, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Elementary Education Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Alaska” ranking.Of the 2,070 students enrolled at University of Alaska Southeast, 111 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
