In 2020-2021, 110,226 teacher education grade specific students received their degree, making the major the 6th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, teacher education grade specific graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $37,970 and had an average of $24,228 in loans still to pay off.

Across Georgia, there were 5,283 teacher education grade specific graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,661 and $24,480 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for Grade Specific Ed” ranking, we looked at 39 colleges that offer a degree in teacher education grade specific. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality teacher education grade specific programs as well as strong veteran support.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the teacher education grade specific program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
