In 2020-2021, 989 people earned their degree in engineering-related technologies, making the major the 270th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, engineering-related technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,339 and had an average of $21,670 in loans still to pay off.

At the associate degree level specifically, there were 339 engineering-related technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,806 and $19,336 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Engineering-Related Tech for an Associate” ranking, we looked at 16 colleges that offer a degree in engineering-related technologies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent engineering-related technologies programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the engineering-related technologies program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
