It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. Our mission at College Factual is to arm you with as much information as we can to help you make that decision. Our “Most Veteran Friendly for Engineering-Related Tech” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.

In 2020-2021, 989 people earned their degree in engineering-related technologies, making the major the 270th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, engineering-related technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $57,339 and had an average of $21,670 in loans still to pay off.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Engineering-Related Tech” ranking looked at 29 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in engineering-related technologies. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great engineering-related technologies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the engineering-related technologies program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

UAA did well in our major quality rankings, too. New Jersey Institute of Technology is a fairly large school located in Newark, New Jersey that handed out 9 ’s engineering-related tech degrees in 2020-2021.
