In 2019-2020, engineering technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,350 and had an average of $21,560 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Great Lakes region, there were 14,715 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $55,609 and $22,191 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 3,792 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,343 and $26,790 respectively.

This year’s “Most Well Attended Engineering Tech Major in the Great Lakes Region for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 75 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in engineering technologies. To top this list, a school must have a successful engineering technologies program that graduates more students in the field than other colleges that offer the same major.
