In 2019-2020, engineering technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,350 and had an average of $21,560 in loans still to pay off.

Across New Jersey, there were 1,396 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $50,002 and $20,726 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in New Jersey for Engineering Tech” ranking looked at 4 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in engineering technologies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent engineering technologies programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend New Jersey Institute of Technology. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in New Jersey for Engineering Tech list. NJIT is located in Newark, New Jersey and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 339 ’s engineering tech degrees to qualified students.

NJIT also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Of the 11,652 students enrolled at NJIT, 164 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 83 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $10,409. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Out of the 4 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in New Jersey for Engineering Tech that were part of this year’s ranking, Thomas Edison State University landed the #2 spot on the list. Located in Trenton, New Jersey, this medium-sized public school awarded 64 degrees to qualified ’s engineering tech students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at TESU, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, Thomas Edison State University supports 10,495 students, and 1,326 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 1,040 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Hoboken, New Jersey is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s engineering tech degrees to 138 students in 2020-2021.

Stevens not only placed well in this ranking.
