In 2020-2021, 1,472 people earned their degree in agricultural engineering, making the major the 341st most popular in the United States.
For this year’s “Best Value AE Schools” ranking, we looked at 29 colleges that offer a degree in agricultural engineering. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great agricultural engineering programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

Out of the 29 schools in the Best Value AE Schools that were part of this year’s ranking, North Dakota State University - Main Campus landed the #1 spot on the list.
