University of Kentucky tops the 2021 list of our schools in Kentucky that are best for non-traditional mechanical engineering students. Located in the large city of Lexington, UK is a public college with a very large student population. UK did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Mechanical Engineering in Kentucky list.
The student loan default rate at UK is lower than is typical, just 1.6% of students default in three years. There are approximately 8,399 students at UK that take at least one class online. 4,117 of UK students are attending part time.
Our rankings recognize University of Louisville as the #2 school in this year's rankings. Located in the city of Louisville, UofL is a public school with a fairly large student population. UofL did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our Best Colleges for Mechanical Engineering in Kentucky list.
