In 2018-2019, engineering students earned 6,157 bachelor's degrees from a Ohio school, making the subject the 3rd in the state. This means that of the 128,724 bachelor's that were awarded in the country, 4.8% were from a college or university in the state.

This year's Highest Paid Engineering Graduates in Ohio ranking analyzed 17 colleges that offered a bachelor's degree in engineering.
In this ranking, we use early career salaries - salaries 10 years from when a student started college. This is the salary typically earned 4-6 years after graduation, but may be different depending on how long a person takes to complete their degree.

How Much Do Engineering Majors Make After Graduation?
After graduation, engineering majors from schools in Ohio earn an average salary of $61,888 per year. This is great news for these degree holders since it is 55% more than the national average of $39,802 for typical college graduates!
The national average salary for engineering bachelor's degree holders is $62,200. That's pretty close to the average for students who get their degree from a school in Ohio.
