Of those degrees, 6,370 went to students in the Rocky Mountains region of the country. This year's Highest Paid Engineering Graduates in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking looked at 18 colleges that offer a bachelor's in engineering.
In this ranking, we use early career salaries - salaries 10 years from when a student started college. This is the salary typically earned 4-6 years after graduation, but may be different depending on how long a person takes to complete their degree.
How Much Do Engineering Majors Make After Graduation?
After graduation, engineering majors from schools in the Rocky Mountains Region earn an average salary of $60,088 per year. This is great news for these degree holders since it is 51% more than the national average of $39,802 for typical college graduates!
The national average salary for engineering bachelor's degree holders is $62,200. That's pretty close to the average for students who get their degree from a school in the Rocky Mountains Region .
