Engineering is one of the most popular majors in the nation, ranking 7th of all the majors we analyze. In 2020-2021, 198,468 degrees were awarded to students with this major. In 2019-2020, engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $68,653 and had an average of $23,855 in loans still to pay off.

Across Florida, there were 9,242 engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $64,690 and $23,698 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Engineering” ranking, we looked at 14 colleges that offer a degree in engineering. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality engineering programs as well as strong veteran support.

Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the engineering program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach is a medium-sized school located in Daytona Beach, Florida that handed out 486 ’s engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach did well in our major quality rankings, too.
