East Asian Languages is the 188th most popular major in the country with 2,293 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, East Asian languages graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,485 and had an average of $22,162 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 164 East Asian languages graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,225 and $27,500 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for East Asian” ranking, we looked at 8 colleges that offer a degree in East Asian languages. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality East Asian languages programs as well as strong veteran support.

In addition to being on our southeast region vets studying east asian list, UGA has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 9 of the 39,147 students enrolled at University of Georgia were GI Bill® students, of which 3 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, this large public school awarded 36 diplomas to qualified ’s East Asian students in 2020-2021.

UNC Charlotte also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, UNC Charlotte supports 30,146 students, and 1,476 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 642 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
