In 2020-2021, 1,425 people earned their degree in Germanic languages, making the major the 222nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, Germanic languages graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $55,443 and had an average of $24,646 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 212 Germanic languages graduates with average earnings and debt of $28,830 and $25,925 respectively.
