You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Modern Languages for a Master’s list. Milwaukee, Wisconsin is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s modern languages degrees to 10 students in 2020-2021.

UWM also made our “Best Modern Languages Master’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list, coming in at #1.Of the 24,565 students enrolled at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, 983 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 494 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $6,519. During this same period, 3 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Modern Languages for a Master’s. SIUC is located in Carbondale, Illinois and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 3 masters’s modern languages degrees to qualified students.

SIUC also made our “Best Modern Languages Master’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list, coming in at #2.According to our most recent data, Southern Illinois University Carbondale supports 11,366 students, and 1 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 0 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Detroit, Michigan is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s modern languages degrees to 6 students in 2020-2021.

Illinois State University is a public institution located in Normal, Illinois. The school has a large population, and it awarded 5 masters’s degrees in 2020-2021.
