In 2020-2021, 294 people earned their degree in general romance languages, making the major the 700th most popular in the United States.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Romance Languages” ranking, we looked at 14 colleges that offer a degree in general romance languages. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent general romance languages programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the general romance languages program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
