In 2019-2020, allied health and medical assisting services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,905 and had an average of $16,497 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 20,908 allied health and medical assisting services graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,654 and $17,531 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Medical Assisting” ranking, we looked at 175 colleges that offer a degree in allied health and medical assisting services. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent allied health and medical assisting services programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
