With all of the options students have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. College Factual was founded, in part, to help students make the decision as to what would be the best school for them. Our “Best Value Chiropractic Schools” ranking is part of that endeavor.

In 2020-2021, 2,658 people earned their degree in chiropractic, making the major the 175th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, chiropractic graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $40,463 and had an average of $0 in loans still to pay off.

For this year’s “Best Value Chiropractic Schools” ranking, we looked at 11 colleges that offer a degree in chiropractic. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality chiropractic programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the chiropractic program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Western States. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Best Value Chiropractic Schools list. Located in Portland, Oregon, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 158 diplomas to qualified ’s chiropractic students in 2020-2021.

Western States Chiropractic College not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Chiropractic Schools” list.

The low undergrad student loan default rate of 0.8% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%. With a undergrad student-to-faculty ratio of 8 to 1, it’s easy to see that the school is committed to helping their undergraduates succeed.

Logan University is located in Chesterfield, Missouri and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 209 ’s chiropractic degrees to qualified students.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Logan University, the school also landed the #5 spot in our “Best Chiropractic Schools” ranking. The yearly cost to attend Logan University is $12,406 for chiropractic students.
