In 2019-2020, 21,530 people earned their degree in dental support services, making the major the 79th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, dental support services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $32,238 and had an average of $13,361 in loans still to pay off.

At the associate degree level specifically, there were 5,733 dental support services graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Dental Support Schools for an Associate” ranking looked at 272 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in dental support services. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great dental support services programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
