You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Houston Baptist University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Registered Nursing for a Master’s list. Located in Houston, Texas, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 64 degrees to qualified masters’s registered nursing students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at HBU, the school also landed the #1 spot in our “Best Registered Nursing Master’s Degree Schools in Texas” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 176 of the 3,963 students enrolled at Houston Baptist University were GI Bill® students, of which 111 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $12,106. On top of their other funding sources, 19 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
