The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Optometry for a Doctorate. University of Alabama at Birmingham is a public institution located in Birmingham, Alabama. The school has a large population, and it awarded 50 doctorate’s degrees in 2020-2021.

UAB also took the #1 spot in our “Best Optometry Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 1,194 of the 22,563 students enrolled at UAB were GI Bill® students, of which 508 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. NUS Florida is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It awarded 107 doctorate’s optometry degrees in 2020-2021.
