With 556,813 degrees handed out in 2020-2021, liberal arts general studies is the 1st most popular major in the United States. In 2019-2020, liberal arts general studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,337 and had an average of $17,430 in loans still to pay off.

Across Colorado, there were 6,496 liberal arts general studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,979 and $16,304 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Colorado for Liberal Arts” ranking, we looked at 21 colleges that offer a degree in liberal arts general studies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent liberal arts general studies programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the liberal arts general studies program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

University of Denver is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Denver, Colorado. It awarded 68 ’s liberal arts degrees in 2020-2021.

Located in Fort Collins, Colorado, this large public school handed out 98 diplomas to qualified ’s liberal arts students in 2020-2021.
