With 556,813 degrees handed out in 2020-2021, liberal arts general studies is the 1st most popular major in the United States. In 2019-2020, liberal arts general studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,337 and had an average of $17,430 in loans still to pay off.

Across Florida, there were 64,448 liberal arts general studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,136 and $16,325 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Liberal Arts” ranking looked at 38 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in liberal arts general studies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent liberal arts general studies programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
