With all of the options veterans have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in Kentucky for Liberal Arts” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.

In 2020-2021, 556,813 liberal arts general studies students received their degree, making the major the 1st most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, liberal arts general studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,337 and had an average of $17,430 in loans still to pay off.

Across Kentucky, there were 6,493 liberal arts general studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $23,926 and $17,478 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Kentucky for Liberal Arts” ranking analyzed 22 colleges that offered a degree in liberal arts general studies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent liberal arts general studies programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the liberal arts general studies program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
