In 2019-2020, applied mathematics graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $59,929 and had an average of $21,348 in loans still to pay off.

Across Washington, there were 364 applied mathematics graduates with average earnings and debt of $55,439 and $26,000 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent applied mathematics programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

UW Seattle not only placed well in this ranking. Washington State University is a large school located in Pullman, Washington that handed out 67 ’s applied math degrees in 2020-2021.

This fairly large school is located in Bellingham, Washington, and it awarded 14 ’s applied math degrees in 2020-2021.

WWU did well in our major quality rankings, too.
