Finding the Best Mathematics Schools for Non-Traditional Students
In <nil>, 2,763 bachelor's degrees were awarded to mathematics students who went to a California college or university. This makes it the #20 most popular major in the state. This means that colleges and universities in the state were responsible for awarding 13.4% of all the math bachelor's degrees in the country.
For this year's Best Mathematics Colleges for Non-Traditional Students in California ranking, we looked at 13 colleges that offer a bachelor's in math. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent mathematics programs, but they also offer a lot of support to non-traditional students.

University of California - Los Angeles has taken the #1 spot in this year's mathematics ranking for non-traditional students. UCLA is a fairly large public school located in the city of Los Angeles. UCLA also took the #1 spot in our Best Colleges for Mathematics in California rankings.
About 0.7% of UCLA students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 25,859 students at UCLA that take at least one class online. 2,161 of UCLA students are attending part time.

Located in the large city of La Jolla, UCSD is a public college with a fairly large student population. UCSD also made our Best Colleges for Mathematics in California list, coming in at #2.
