2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Multicultural & Diversity Studies

In 2019-2020, 462 people earned their degree in multicultural and diversity studies, making the major the 305th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, multicultural and diversity studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $24,150 and had an average of $27,776 in loans still to pay off.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 134 multicultural and diversity studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Multiculturalism Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 8 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in multicultural and diversity studies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality multicultural and diversity studies programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

The school has an impressive student loan default rate. It’s only 3.3%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%.

Since the school has a student-to-faculty ratio of 10 to 1, those pursuing a degree will have more opportunities to interact with their professors. The student loan default rate at the school is 4.5%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.

With a ranking of #8, Macalester College did quite well on the 2022 Best Value Multiculturalism Schools for a Bachelor’s list. Macalester College is a private not-for-profit institution located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The school has a small population, and it awarded 7 bachelors’s degrees in 2019-2020.
