You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Kansas State University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Natural Sciences list. Kansas State University is located in Manhattan, Kansas and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 84 ’s natural sciences degrees to qualified students.

In addition to being on our plains states region vets studying natural sciences list, K -State has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 20,854 students enrolled at Kansas State University, 1,099 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 647 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $6,562. Missouri State is a public institution located in Springfield, Missouri. The school has a large population, and it awarded 11 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Missouri State, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 23,505 students enrolled at Missouri State University - Springfield, 5 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of the 3 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Natural Sciences that were part of this year’s ranking, College of Saint Benedict landed the #3 spot on the list. Located in Saint Joseph, Minnesota, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 14 diplomas to qualified ’s natural sciences students in 2020-2021.

CSB also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Of the 1,668 students enrolled at CSB, 15 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 11 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $8,588. During this same period, 5 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
