You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Wyoming. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Wyoming for Conservation for a Bachelor’s list. UW is a fairly large public school situated in Laramie, Wyoming. It awarded 59 bachelors’s conservation degrees in 2020-2021.

UW also made our “Best Natural Resources Conservation Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Wyoming” list, coming in at #1.Of the 11,829 students enrolled at UW, 473 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 255 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $3,738. On top of their other funding sources, 13 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
