You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Rhode Island School of Design. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for Woodworking for a Bachelor’s list. Located in Providence, Rhode Island, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 17 degrees to qualified bachelors’s woodworking students in 2020-2021.

RISD did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Woodworking Bachelor’s Degree Schools” list.Of the 2,227 students enrolled at Rhode Island School of Design, 16 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 5 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $20,999.
