You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Rhode Island School of Design. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for Woodworking for a Master’s list. RISD is a private not-for-profit institution located in Providence, Rhode Island. The school has a small population, and it awarded 7 masters’s degrees in 2020-2021.

RISD also made our “Best Woodworking Master’s Degree Schools” list, coming in at #1.Our most recent data shows that 16 of the 2,227 students enrolled at RISD were GI Bill® students, of which 5 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $20,999. To help with additional expenses, 3 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
