In 2019-2020, child development and psychology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $34,186 and had an average of $22,623 in loans still to pay off.
Across Minnesota, there were 559 child development and psychology graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,081 and $23,500 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Minnesota for Child Development” ranking looked at 5 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in child development and psychology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality child development and psychology programs as well as strong veteran support.

University of Minnesota - Twin Cities is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 174 ’s child development degrees to qualified students.

Capella University is a large school located in Minneapolis, Minnesota that handed out 143 ’s child development degrees in 2020-2021.
