Morgantown, West Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s social work degrees to 47 students in 2020-2021.
WVU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Social Work Bachelor’s Degree Schools in West Virginia” list.Our most recent data shows that 1,033 of the 26,269 students enrolled at WVU were GI Bill® students, of which 458 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $8,599. In addition to receiving other benefits, 66 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Concord University is a public institution located in Athens, West Virginia. The school has a small population, and it awarded 29 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Concord University, the school also landed the #4 spot in our “Best Social Work Bachelor’s Degree Schools in West Virginia” ranking.According to our most recent data, Concord University supports 1,807 students, and 71 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 26 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Shepherd University also made our “Best Social Work Bachelor’s Degree Schools in West Virginia” list, coming in at #3.Among the 3,159 students enrolled at Shepherd University, 152 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 78 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $6,177.
