In 2020-2021, 25,910 people earned their degree in music, making the major the 43rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, music graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $27,160 and had an average of $24,560 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 1,114 music graduates with average earnings and debt of $24,126 and $21,035 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Rocky Mountains Region for Music” ranking looked at 26 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in music. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent music programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

With a ranking of #23, Northwest College did quite well on the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Rocky Mountains Region for Music list. Northwest Community College is a small school located in Powell, Wyoming that handed out 15 ’s music degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our rocky mountains region vets studying music list, Northwest Community College has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 43 of the 1,438 students enrolled at Northwest College were GI Bill® students, of which 16 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $2,368. To help with additional expenses, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
