UT Austin is located in Austin, Texas and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 10,592 bachelor’s degrees to qualified undergraduates.

Of the total number of students at the school, 8.3% are international. Students from as far away as China, India, and South Korea come to UT Austin to study.

With a freshman retention rate of 97%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its students.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Texas A&M University - College Station. The school came in at #2 in this year’s ranking. Texas A&M University - College Station is a large public school located in College Station, Texas that handed out 13,409 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Of the total number of students at the school, 6.4% are international. Students from as far away as China, India, and South Korea come to Texas A&M College Station to study.

ASU - Tempe is a public institution located in Tempe, Arizona. The school has a large population, and it awarded 14,829 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

International students make up 10.4% of the total student body at the school. Students from as far away as China, India, and Saudi Arabia come to ASU - Tempe to study.

University of North Texas did quite well in the 2021 Best Colleges for Jamaican Students in the Southwest Region ranking, coming in at #6. University of North Texas is a large public school located in Denton, Texas that handed out 8,156 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

The University of Texas at San Antonio did quite well in the 2021 Best Colleges for Jamaican Students in the Southwest Region ranking, coming in at #7. San Antonio, Texas is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 6,440 students in 2020-2021.

Around 2.7% of the total student population at the school is international. Students studying at UTSA come from such countries as India, Mexico, and China.

Prairie View A & M University did quite well in the 2021 Best Colleges for Jamaican Students in the Southwest Region ranking, coming in at #8. PVAMU is a medium-sized public school situated in Prairie View, Texas. It awarded 1,474 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Around 2.2% of the total student population at the school is international. The top three countries sending students to study at PVAMU are Nigeria, India, and Jamaica.

With a ranking of #9, The University of Texas at El Paso did quite well on the 2021 Best Colleges for Jamaican Students in the Southwest Region. El Paso, Texas is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 3,981 students in 2020-2021.

Around 5.6% of the total student population at the school is international. The top three countries sending students to study at UTEP are Mexico, Kuwait, and India.

East Central University ranked #10 on this year’s Best Colleges for Jamaican Students in the Southwest Region list. East Central University is a small public school located in Ada, Oklahoma that handed out 534 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Of the total number of students at the school, 10.1% are international. Students from as far away as Nepal, Bahamas, and China come to ECU to study.
