New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology tops this year’s ranking as the best school for international students in New Mexico. New Mexico Tech is a public institution located in Socorro, New Mexico. The school has a small population, and it awarded 225 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Of the total number of students at the school, 4.7% are international. The top three countries sending students to study at New Mexico Tech are China, India, and Nepal.

Out of the 4 schools in New Mexico that were part of this year’s ranking, University of New Mexico - Main Campus landed the #2 spot on the list. This large public school is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and it awarded 4,294 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Of the total number of students at the school, 4.5% are international. Students studying at UNM come from such countries as China, India, and Nepal.

The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at New Mexico State University - Main Campus helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the best schools for international students in New Mexico. Located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, the fairly large public school handed out 2,425 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

International students make up 5.4% of the total student body at the school. Students studying at NMSU Main Campus come from such countries as Kuwait, Mexico, and India.
