Info in This Veterans Report on CBC:
An increased number of veterans enrolling at a particular school means that college faculty are more adept at accommodating and supporting those with previous military experience. The VA reports that there are 67 GI Bill® students at CBC. As the school’s total enrollment is 1,793, approximately 3.7% of those enrolled are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. As a benchmark, the Student Veterans of America puts the share of veteran college students nationwide at three to four percent.
The total spans all GI Bill® chapters, including Post-9/11, Montgomery, Reserve Education Assistance, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. It excludes active-duty military personnel attending through Tuition Assistance, so the true military population may be larger. Veteran students account for 0.6% of all students at CBC, based on College Scorecard data.
Outcome rates for veterans help show whether a school’s support translates into degrees.

If you have specialized military training, CBC may take that into consideration and grant college credit for it. Check with an admissions counselor for details. Credit for prior learning can shorten your time to a degree, so it’s worth asking about. Beyond military training, ask CBC whether it awards credit for life or work experience, CLEP exams, or other prior learning.
There are no ROTC programs offered at CBC.
Our data shows that this school has not received any complaints at the VA.
