Our Veterans Report on CWI:
When many veterans attend a school, its faculty and staff tend to be more experienced at meeting the needs of former service members. Based on VA records, there are 441 GI Bill® students at CWI. With a total enrollment of 5,898, around 7.5% of those enrolled are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. To put that into context, the Student Veterans of America estimates that roughly three to four percent of all U.S. college students are veterans.
This number includes all chapters of the GI Bill®, such as Post-9/11, the Montgomery GI Bill®, the Reserve Education Assistance Program, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. Active-duty military using Tuition Assistance are excluded, so the actual military population may be bigger. Veteran students account for 1.4% of those enrolled at CWI, based on College Scorecard data.
How a school’s veterans persist, transfer, and graduate is a useful signal of how well it serves them.

Veterans with specialized military training may be able to earn college credit at CWI. Ask the admissions office how this applies to you. Prior-learning credit can help you graduate sooner, so it pays to ask. Contact CWI to find out if it grants credit for life experience, CLEP/standardized exams, or other prior learning.
Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs are not available at CWI.
