An increased number of veterans enrolling at a particular school means that college faculty are more adept at accommodating and supporting those with previous military experience. VA figures show 14 GI Bill® students at Luther. With a total enrollment of 1,454, around 96.3% of those enrolled are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. By comparison, the Student Veterans of America reports that three to four percent of college students nationwide are veterans.

Luther does not currently award college credit for military training. Prior-learning credit can help you graduate sooner, so it pays to ask. Contact Luther to find out if it grants credit for life experience, CLEP/standardized exams, or other prior learning.
There are no ROTC programs offered at Luther.
