A large number of veterans attending a college means the college and faculty are more used to supporting and accommodating the needs of those with prior military experience. VA figures show 20 GI Bill® students at Menlo. Because the school enrolls 811, around 2.5% of those enrolled are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. As a benchmark, the Student Veterans of America puts the share of veteran college students nationwide at three to four percent.
